Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are at the heart of all we do-each week volunteers provide over 200 hours of service at our facilities!
There are many ways to volunteer, and since we have facilities located throughout Bucks County, you won’t have to go far to help! The Next Step: Once you have found a volunteer opportunity that interests you, proceed by following the instructions in the "How to Volunteer" page. Food Pantry at Penndel:
Food Pick Up Volunteers - needed to do food pick ups on a weekly basis. These pick ups would require a large SUV or van. They involve picking the donation up at the designated time and bringing it to the food pantry to be weighed and put away. The total time involved may be up to 2 hours depending on traffic and location. Each pick up involves different food items (must be capable of lifting 30 lbs). The pick ups are: Mondays- ShopRite Yardley (Big Oak Road)- 12:30 pm Tuesdays- ShopRite Yardley (Big Oak Road)- 12:30 pm Wednesdays- ShopRite Yardley (Big Oak Road)- Bread and desserts- 7:30 am Wednesday- ShopRite Yardley (Big Oak Road)- 9:30 am Thursday- ShopRite Yardley (Big Oak Road)- 12:30 pm Fridays- Giant (Summit Trace Shopping Center)- 10:00 am Stocking- Mondays from 8:00 am to 10:00am: Help set up for Pantry hours Tuesdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm: Stock the Pantry and date check/sort food Wednesdays from 12:15pm to 2:00pm: Stock the Pantry 4th weekend of the month; a family to stock shelves and sort and date check food; 1-2 hours; able to lift 30-40 pounds. Pantry Volunteers- Monday from 9:15am to 12:30 Wednesdays from 9:15am to 12:30pm Thursday from 5:45pm to 8:00pm helping clients choose food; sort and date check food; stock shelves; able to lift 30-40 pounds Food Pantry at Doylestown:

The pick ups are: Friday: Acme Doylestown : 9:00 am Pantry Volunteers- Sunday from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm; Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Helping clients choose food; sort and date check donated food; stock shelves; able to lift 30 pounds. Student Volunteers- Available Hours Wednesday 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Sunday 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. Must be aged 14 or older. .

Quakertown Shelter:
Handyman – experienced handy person needed to assemble furniture, move furniture, and do small repairs. Bensalem, Penndel, Morrisville, Doylestown, Quakertown Shelters:
Looking for people to do donation drives for the following: household supplies, baby supplies, gift card drive, and personal care kits.
