Our Staff
Currently there is a dedicated and energetic staff who oversee all aspects of daily operations of the organization, ranging from intensive case management with clients to maintaining Housing Group properties. Each staff member is encouraged to fulfill their position with creativity and passion. Individual growth is also encouraged; like the client families, each staff member is reminded that the future is an opportunity which we need to be ready to meet.
Erik Clare: Mr. Clare has a passion for helping people to reach their true potential by providing them with opportunities and help. He brought that passion to Bucks County Housing Group in April of 2015 as Director of Development and was named Executive Director in February of 2018. He joined Bucks County Housing Group with extensive experience in the private, non-profit, and public sectors specializing all aspects of fundraising. Mr. Clare has previously worked for two Congressmen, a State Representative, various academic and non-profit organizations, and the President of the United States. As Executive Director he functions as the Chief Executive Officer responsible for daily operations and implementation of polices set by the Board of Directors. Mr. Clare provides program, fiscal, strategic planning, human resources, development and other oversight. He holds a BA in Political Science from Norwich University – The Military College of Vermont and an MS in Nonprofit Leadership from LaSalle University.

Nick Parsons: Mr. Parsons serves as the Development and Marketing Manager for Bucks County Housing Group. Nick first worked with Bucks County Housing Group in 2016 as part of Foundations Community
Partnership’s Summer Youth Corps, a service-learning internship program. Prior to becoming the new Development and Marketing Manager this year, Nick received a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, with a concentration in Choices and Behavior. Nick graduated Summa Cum Laude, with an Academic Achievement award for being among the top six students in his major. |
Sherry Pace: Ms. Pace is the housing counseling program manager, providing pre-purchase housing counseling through webinars, workshops, and face-to-face counseling. She joined Bucks County Housing Group in March of 1999 as a full-time pre-purchase counselor. Ms. Pace has received certification(s) from the NeighborWorks Center for Homeownership Education and Counseling (NCHEC) in Homeownership Counseling for Program Mangers and Executive Directors, Foreclosure Intervention and Default Counseling, Homeownership Counseling, Pre-purchase Homeownership Education, and Post-Purchase Education. She is also a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Certified Housing Counselor and a Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) Housing Counseling Specialist. Ms. Pace holds an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Montgomery County Community College. Her extensive industry training and high performance standards allowed Bucks County Housing Group to be officially recognized as an Adopter of the National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling since 2010. |
Susan O'Neil: Ms. O'Neil has been with Bucks County Housing Group since 2002, and worked in several positions at the agency before ultimately becoming BCHG's rental manager in October of 2015. As the rental manager, she handles tenant move-ins and move-outs, keeps area agencies up to date with any apartment availabilities takes care of HUD and PHFA paperwork.

Madelaine Burgess: Ms. Burgess used her initial experience as a volunteer to transition to her many-faceted role of overseeing both BCHG pantries. Her passion for addressing food insecurity, combined with her organizational acumen and her knowledge of the local communities served by the pantries make Maddie a strong asset for the organization. Her efforts to address hunger extend well beyond traditional work hours and reach outside the boundaries of her position here. She holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from St. Andrew's in Scotland

Elizabeth DeCicco: Mrs. DeCicco is the Case Management Supervisor for the BCHG. She provides oversight of the social service team with the goal of facilitating quality, comprehensive services to families experiencing homelessness in Bucks County. She oversees the day to day operations of the agency’s social service programs. Prior to joining BCHG, Mrs. DeCicco had sixteen years of experience working in the mental health field in a variety of settings including clients’ homes, schools, residential treatment facilities and foster homes. She had extensive experience in case management providing community based services for children and their families. She assisted with helping clients gain access to psychiatric, medical, social, residential and financial services while collaborating with multiple service providers to help meet their needs. Mrs. DeCicco holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Trauma from Rosemont College.
