Our Partner Organizations

BCHG receives great support from all kinds of organizations, faith families, and individuals. Our Community Partners are friends in the business community and civic groups who show their support by sponsoring food drives, backpack drives, in-kind donations, and fundraising events. Please take some time to read about our Community Partners and meet our wonderful friends in the community!

4UDREW Foundation
The 4UDrew Foundation is a registered 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds to support area organizations that meet the basic human need of hunger.  In addition, this foundation supports individuals who wish to further their education.  Family and friends felt inspired to form this foundation in memory of Drew Panettieri who tragically passed away in a motocross accident on March 11, 2006.  BCHG is an annual beneficiary of the Foundation with operating support and a summer high school internship program.

United Way of Bucks County
​United Way is an organization dedicated to empowering individuals worldwide to succeed, through a variety of far-reaching programs. United Way of Bucks County has provided long term consistent support for a variety of BCHG programs. Currently UWBC funds the Housing Counseling Program, which addresses issues of home ownership and foreclosure.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church
St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Doylestown was formally organized in April of 1846, with their first services being held in April of 1848. St. Paul’s is the proud sponsor of the annual Christmas in Doylestown House Tour and Boutique, which celebrated their 22nd year in 2015.  The Christmas tour has opened 86 different homes to the public. Through a long lasting partnership with BCHG, the church has donated over $135,000 to our Doylestown Shelter from this event.

Makefield Women's Association
The Makefield Women's Association (MWA) is a nonprofit women's organization whose mission is to help those in need through fundraising and services. This association is a Legacy Apartment Partner of our Morrisville Apartment Community, meaning that they have served as an Apartment Partner for longer than ten years.

William Penn Bank
​William Penn Bank has been part of the community since 1870 and is a community customer centered bank. This long time partner funds a portion of our Housing Counseling Program, our program which provides necessary counseling for First Time Home Buyers and for those facing foreclosure.

Reed Technology
Reed Tech is a well-known provider of information-based solutions and services. Reed Technology has assisted us with Shelter Support, Group Work Days, and as a Holiday Helper.

Foundations Community Partnership
Foundations Community Partnership is a "philanthropic grant-making foundation supporting the behavioral health and human service needs of children and young adults in Bucks County." FCP is a strong contributor for programs at BCHG and has provided funding in the past for programs such as Wheelz2Work and one-time projects such as a community pavilion at our Robert Morris Apartments.

Bucks County Food Runners
Bucks County Food Runners is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, volunteer organization, established in 2015 serving Bucks County by gleaning safe, fresh, edible food that would otherwise be discarded by restaurants and other food production establishments. The food is delivered to shelters, soup kitchens, food pantries, and other agencies, including Bucks County Housing Group.

Deserving Decor
Deserving Decor is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization of community volunteers who donate their time, passion and talent to provide furnishing and decorating services for transitional homeless shelters and the recently housed - using community donated furniture, household goods and home decor.

Soroptomist of Bucks County
Soroptomist is, in their own words, "A global volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment." Soroptomist contributes to BCHG as both an apartment partner and a pantry partner.


Curves of Richboro
​Curves International, Inc. is a fitness center chain for women; it is one of the largest in the world. The Curves based in Richboro helps BCHG as a holiday helper, as well as with food drives and a Back to School drive.

The Knights of Pythias
​
This group is "an international, non-sectarian fraternal order." The Knights of Pythias are a proud Pantry Partner and an all around supporter of Penndel Shelter.

Yardley Medical Center
Yardley Medical Center, more formally known as Penn Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Bucks County,  is a community health provider that specializes in personalized and integrated care for clients of all ages. This medical care provider aids us as a regular holiday helper.

PNC Bank
PNC Bank is a bank "committed to providing our clients with great service and powerful financial expertise to help them meet their financial goals." PNC is a proud Housing Counseling partner, joining us in 2012 with a substantial grant. The funds have been used to provide free services to low-moderate income families wishing to become homeowners.

Penn Community Bank
According to their website, "Penn Community Bank offers a wide array of financial products and services while remaining committed to our local communities, customers, and team members." First Federal of Bucks County, one of two banks which partnered to join Penn Community Bank, has served as a sponsor for our gala event in 2012, 2013 and again in 2014.

Bucks County Neighbors
BCN is an organization made up of Bucks County residents which holds educational and entertaining programs, and which holds a large annual fundraiser for a charity of their choice. BCN has served our organization as both an Apartment Partner and a Holiday Helper.

Bucks County Association of Realtors
This local organization is a nonprofit trade association of thousands of local realtors. The Bucks County Association of Realtors has helped us with a charity auction, and as an Apartment Partner.

Anchor Run Farm
Anchor Run is a community-supported agricultural organization that provides for residents of lower Bucks County. To help us, Anchor Run provides fresh produce for our Penndel Community Food Pantry.

Newtown Business Association
NBA's mission is "to promote Newtown as a great place to live, work, shop and do business." Newtown Business Association has helped us by contributing to our annual golf outing.

Gravity Hill Farm is a small family-run, organic farm dedicated to serving families in the surrounding community. They have helped us by providing fresh organic produce for Doylestown Community Food Pantry.

Huntingdon Valley Bank
This bank represents its customers, employees, and surrounding community. Huntingdon Valley Bank has aided us in our endeavors by serving as an Apartment Partner for our Bensalem and Doylestown shelters.

Ancient Order of Hibernians
This nearly two-century-old order stands for "Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity". They have helped us as a proud partner of our Doylestown Community Food Pantry.

Spirit in Motion Ballet Theater
Spirit in Motion is a nonprofit dance company and performing arts school, found at the Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts. They aid our organization by sponsoring food drives.

The Bucks County SPCA
The Bucks County SPCA assists animals in need and prevents suffering through rescue, re-homing, cruelty investigation and prosecution, and community outreach.  They support our Community Food Pantries throughout the year.
