The Bucks County Housing Link
About the Housing Link:
If you are facing a housing crisis, or if you are homeless, this is the first number that you should call, and the first step you should take in order to get the housing you need. Bucks County Housing Group, along with numerous other organizations in the county, use this tool to assess families for our programs.
What to expect:
The first step is to call the 800 number above and leave a message with a phone number or email address and a brief description of the situation. A Housing Link staff member will call back within 2-4 days depending on call volume and urgency of need. Callers will be interviewed with a twenty question screening tool that will take approximately 15 minutes to complete over the phone. Callers will then be contacted by one of the coordinated assessment center agencies to schedule an in-person appointment at the location nearest to them. For this appointment, which will last approximately one hour, the caller will be asked to bring documentation for program eligibility verification, and will complete a program eligibility assessment as well as a nationally-recognized housing assessment to determine the most appropriate type of assistance for them.
