Donations come in many forms and all contributions are appreciated and valued. Not sure what to give? Check out some suggestions below.

MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS

Bucks County Housing Group is a private non-profit organization and as such we receive funding from a variety of sources. Housing Group relies on county, state and federal contracts and grants to underwrite the majority of our programs.

However, no matter how well we plan, there are always gaps in funding and donations. To close those gaps we solicit gifts from foundations, corporations, civic and faith-based organizations and individual community members like YOU!

In order to make it easier to donate, we have set up a secure payment option so that you can donate right now, and even choose where you want your donation to go!

These gifts are essential to the work we do: without the support of the community we would be unable to provide effective and sustaining services to our client families. We count on you, our friends and supporters, because our client families count on you!

FOUNDERS CIRCLE

The Housing Group is pleased to announce the formation of a planned giving program: The Founders Circle. The Founders Circle giving program is for those donors who wish to donate on monthly basis. We know there is value in budgeting your giving on a monthly basis. For example, it may be a financial strain to donate $350 at one time, but donating $25 each month over the course of 12 months makes that figure achievable. A planned giving program allows those on fixed incomes to participate in way that is comfortable and affordable. The Founders Circle will also be a program of connection; as a member of The Founders Circle you will receive regular newsletters, invitations to events and opportunities to participate in community forums. UNITED WAY

Designate a gift through the United Way. If you live in Bucks County, write in "Bucks County Housing Group" on the donor option form designating the agency that you wish to benefit. If you live outside Bucks County, use these numbers to indicate that you would like your gift to go to the Housing Group:

WINTER HOLIDAYS

The Winter Holiday season is the busiest time of year at Housing Group! Our generous Bucks County community makes every effort to make sure our client families enjoy the season. Thanks to your generous support we are able to address the holiday needs of every family participating in a Housing Group program- that is a lot of help! If you would like to be part of our Winter Holidays this year, please contact mmantz@bchg.org.

FOR THE PERSON WHO HAS EVERYTHING...

Gifts made to the Bucks County Housing Group in honor of an individual or a special occasion offer a wonderful tribute while benefiting a new generation of families. Please consider birthday, anniversary, wedding, holiday and memorial contributions.

HAVING A PARTY?

Planning a party or gathering? Consider encouraging your guests to make a monetary donation to the Housing Group in lieu of wine or a gift. Or ask guests to bring an item, like diapers or personal care items which you can donate at the shelter nearest you. This is an especially nice idea around the Winter Holidays.

MEETING CLIENTS NEEDS

Donations of gift certificates to local supermarkets and stores provide vital support to our clients. Gift certificates empower clients to make choices reflecting individual tastes and needs. Certificates for food, clothing, gasoline, books, hair cuts, movie theaters or long distance phone cards enable families to stretch tight budgets and encourage self-sufficiency.
